This is a PDF version of a PowerPoint I developed for a 3-hour professional development workshop for content teachers (math, science, history, etc.) at independent schools. Faculty at independent schools are often subject matter experts but not trained or certified teachers, and this workshop met the need that I and other ESOL teachers felt when working with these teachers to help our students.
