Instructional Portfolio

Whether it’s teaching English to international students, doing professional development for teachers, or writing instructional materials for a diverse set of audiences, I’ve got you covered. What would you like to see me develop next?

International Student Book

NAIS, 2012

In 2012, I approached the National Association of Independent Schools about revising a handbook they had originally produced in the 1980s. While I had significant help with some of the chapters, this is the chapter I revised myself.

Teacher Training

2010-2020

For a time, I did workshops for private school faculty cohorts about working with non-native speakers of English in content classrooms. This is a video of a presentation I did about these workshops for TESOL International Association for the virtual conference in 2020. Here’s a copy of the PowerPoint I used in the workshops.

Software Learning

PracticeTek, 2021-2025

Two examples of asynchronous courses that I built using Articulate Rise 360 at PracticeTek for the chiropractic software ChiroTouch.

Current Project

“Messiah” Guide

I developed a guide for new listeners to Handel’s “Messiah.” It has turned into a slightly larger project to be continued in the fall of 2026, but this is the start.
